hodge podge prose and practical panic

I am up and Wide awake.
I assisted myself in staying up to study for my two midterms tomorrow and now I am riding the lonely horse of the sleepless traveler. see!
Portishead and Perrier are keeping me in good company.
Beside the assistance, I think a mix of nerves and excitement is keeping me awake. Excitement because of the fantastic/halloweeny/festy upcoming weekend, and nervous because I have a plaguing, pathological Fear that Barack Obama isn't going to be our next president. That is normal, it is crunch time! It is probably unlikely, but still possible - and horrifying.

And over confidence is never wise.
Example: On Sunday, This American Life was about the upcoming presidential election and people who campaign for either candidate in the tricky, swing state, Pennsylvania. It was a serious fucking episode. very serious.
I would like to discuss...
But, as it was particularly loaded, I would hate to ruin carefully prescibed, subtle political commentary on ordinary people doing extraordinary things...
Just this: I know I think about race politics more than necessary, and still this episode scarred the craaa out of me.

YOU MUST DO IT!

next:
I am very excited about my fun, full day tomorrow and the day of sleep that will follow.

Shout out to Momo who is, sadly, also awake right now . i love you, you little trooper. <3.

Until next time...
